MicroJet Cryo-Trap (MJT-1035E)
A cryo-focusing device that traps low-boiling-point compounds by liquid N2 cooling in GC oven.
With this device installed, about 3-7 L/min of nitrogen gas flows through a heat exchange coil immersed in liquid nitrogen to liquefy it. It is sprayed as a jet stream on the head of a separation column in GC oven. The targeted compounds are trapped there. Then the solenoid valve is closed to stop the jet flow instantaneously. At the same time, through the circulating air in the GC oven, the trap is heated at approx. 800 ºC/min which initiated volatilization and the separation analysis of trapped compounds.
This is an stand-alone model for use with pre-processing equipment from third-party manufacturers, in addition to pyrolyzer.
