Rapid Catalyst Screening system and related products
Two types of rapid catalyst screening reactors (Tandem μ-Reactor and Single μ-Reactor) have been developed to facilitate the rapid characterization of catalysts. These μ-Reactors are easily interfaced to a gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) system, allowing real-time monitoring of the chemical species generated by vapor phase contact reaction with a catalyst. The catalyst is packed into a quick-change quartz catalyst reaction tube prior to testing.
[ Features ]
1) Catalysts screening with all sample forms Catalyst reaction products can be monitored through online-MS analysis mode. Also, GC/MS analysis can be performed at desired reactor temperatures.
2) Micro furnace capable for rapid heating/cooling
The micro furnace reactors feature with multi-linear temp. programs and multi-stepwise temp. programs (up to 8 steps). The ramp rate can be set from 1°C to max 200 °C/min, while the temperature can be controlled from 40 to 900°C.
3) Rapid switching of catalyst reaction tubes
Switching catalysts can be accomplished in a few minutes using the proprietary quartz reaction tube (i.d. 3 mm, o.d. 4 mm, length 78mm ).
NEW High Pressure Flow Controller (HP-3050FC)

NEW Medium Pressure Flow controller (MP-3050FC)

Allows online GC analysis of products formed by catalytic reaction under 1 MPa. Peak retention times on chromatogram are unaffected by pressure.

Any set of EGA thermal zones can be heart-cut and the components introduced into a capillary column or vented.
MicroJet Cryo-Trap (MJT-1035E)

Cryo-traps low boiling compounds at the front of capillary column by cooling a spot of the column to -196°C using Liq. N2. The universal design allows it to work with most sample introduction devices.

Allows switching a separation column and EGA tube without venting the MS system.

G series sample cups are made of pyrex glass. Because the cups are made of glass, the sample position, sample color change, residues, and contamination can be observed.
